RegionPulse turns public records (campaign finance, lobbying, legislative votes, government contracts) into sourced, structured intelligence. We are nonpartisan by policy, not just by preference.
What we sell
Facts and analysis derived from public records: data, dashboards, money-maps, scores, and custom research. The same work is available to journalists, advocacy groups, researchers, and campaigns of any party.
What we don't sell
We are not a political consultancy. We do not write messaging, craft attack ads, build persuasion strategy, or decide who should win. We provide the evidence; what you argue with it is your business.
Our commitments
- Consistent terms. The same data and analysis is available to any client at the same published price, regardless of party or position.
- Published methodology. Every metric we produce ships with its method, sources, and limits. You can always check our work.
- Source-traceable. Every figure links back to a public record. No anonymous claims.
- Correlation stated as correlation. When money and votes move together, we say so as a statistical association, with caveats, never as proven corruption.
- We decline work that needs a thumb on the scale. If an engagement requires shading the data toward a predetermined conclusion, we pass.
Independence
RegionPulse is a separate company from any newsroom. When a news organization publishes work built on RegionPulse data, that use is disclosed, just as outlets credit any data provider. We never share one client's identity or work with another.
Accuracy & corrections
Public records contain errors, and so can our processing of them. We correct mistakes promptly and visibly. If you believe a figure about you is wrong, contact us with the record and we'll review it.
